Description
Description
The Minimalist Niacinamide 10% Face Serum has been developed to tackle the skin problems prevalent at the Indian skin level. The serum uses 10% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and Zinc PCA to address five common skin issues: oiliness, enlarged pores, post-acne dark spots, weak skin barrier, and redness. It is really efficient in one serum.
Niacinamide regulates sebum production, reduces the visibility of pores, lightens acne scars, and makes skin stronger, calmer and less reactive. Zinc PCA helps in controlling oil production by inhibiting the hormone that causes overactivity in the release of sebum. Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Allantoin provide a calming factor to the skin and ensure that the skin is not disturbed. Comes in two concentrations, 10% full strength and 5% for those who want to give gentle skin care a try. Fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, BIS compliant. Browse the full serum collection at Zivanyaa.
Benefits
Benefits
- Reduces Oil at the Source, Not Just on the Surface: Most oil-control products absorb excess sebum after it appears. Niacinamide 10% reduces how much sebum your skin produces in the first place by calming the biological signal that tells oil glands to overproduce. The result is less shine throughout the day, not just right after washing.
- Fades Post-Acne Dark Spots: After a pimple heals, the skin can send excess pigment to the surface leaving a dark mark. Niacinamide interrupts that delivery process so existing marks fade gradually and new ones are prevented with consistent daily use.
- Strengthens the Skin Barrier Over Time: A damaged skin barrier causes skin to overcompensate by producing more sebum. Niacinamide stimulates ceramide production, the natural lipids that form the protective outer barrier, resulting in less reactive and less oily skin over time.
- Dual Oil Control with Zinc PCA and Niacinamide: Zinc PCA targets the hormone pathway that drives sebum overproduction. Niacinamide targets the inflammatory pathway. Two different routes to the same result for more durable oil control than either ingredient alone.

FAQ
FAQ
Q1. What does this serum actually do for Indian skin?
Controls oiliness, shrinks pore appearance, fades post-acne dark spots, strengthens the skin barrier, and reduces redness. All from one serum used twice daily. For the Hair Growth Serum that also addresses multiple hair concerns simultaneously, a multi-active scalp serum targets hairfall from multiple biological causes on the same daily routine as this serum targets multiple skin concerns.
Q2. What is the difference between 10% and 5% Niacinamide?
10% is faster and more effective for sebum control, pigmentation fading, and barrier strengthening. 5% is for sensitive skin beginners who need to introduce Niacinamide gradually. Most Indian oily and acne-prone skin does well at 10% from the start. For the Glycolic Acid 8% that also has a beginner vs. experienced user distinction, a experienced-user exfoliant follows a similar progression approach where stronger formulas are for those who have built tolerance.
Q3. Is this good for Indian acne-prone skin?
Yes, one of the best serums for acne-prone skin. It reduces the oil that feeds acne bacteria, calms active breakout redness, and fades the dark marks acne leaves. Non-comedogenic and safe with Salicylic Acid and retinoids. For the Salicylic Acid LHA Cleanser that clears pores while this serum controls oil and fades marks, a pore clearing BHA cleanser handles pore congestion while this serum manages oil and pigmentation on the same acne routine.
Q4. How long before I see results?
Less oiliness in 2 to 3 weeks. Smaller-looking pores at 4 to 6 weeks. Dark spots noticeably lighter at 8 to 12 weeks. Improvement continues building over 3 to 6 months. Consistency twice daily is the most important factor. For the PHA Toner that also shows progressive brightening improvement with consistent daily use, a daily brightening toner delivers progressive skin clarity on the same consistent daily routine.
Q5. Can I use this with Vitamin C Serum?
Yes. The concern about Niacinamide and Vitamin C reacting is not valid at modern skincare concentrations, and the Minimalist Vitamin C 10% serum already contains 3% Niacinamide in the same formula. Use Vitamin C in the morning and this serum in the evening, or layer with a short gap. For the Anti-Dandruff Serum that also controls scalp sebum on the same daily routine as this serum controls facial sebum, a scalp sebum control serum manages scalp oiliness on the same daily routine as this serum manages facial oiliness.
