Description
Description
The Minimalist AHA + PHA + BHA 32% Face Peel is a weekly treatment peel for people who want faster results than daily serums provide. At 32% combined acids, it dissolves the entire accumulated dead skin layer, clears pores, and accelerates cell turnover in a single 10 to 20 minute weekly session. Three acids working together: Glycolic Acid removes dead surface cells and stimulates collagen; Salicylic Acid 2% penetrates pores to clear congestion from inside; Gluconolactone exfoliates the surface gently while also hydrating. Aloe Vera and Panthenol soothe the skin after. Not for beginners or sensitive skin. Build tolerance with daily acid products first. Fragrance-free. BIS compliant. Part of the Minimalist skincare range.
Benefits
Benefits
- Three Acids Targeting Three Different Skin Problems at Once: Glycolic Acid clears the dull dead cell layer from the surface and stimulates collagen below. Salicylic Acid dissolves the oil-and-dead-cell plugs inside pores causing blackheads and congestion. Gluconolactone refines the surface while keeping skin hydrated. In one 10 to 20 minute session, all three issues are treated simultaneously. For the Vitamin C 10% Face Serum that maintains brightening daily between weekly peel sessions, a daily vitamin C brightening serum maintains the skin brightness the peel accelerates in the days between weekly sessions.
- One Weekly Session Achieves What Daily Serums Take Weeks to Build: Daily serums accumulate results gradually over weeks. This peel removes the entire dead surface layer and clears pore congestion in a single 10 to 20 minute session. Skin looks visibly smoother, brighter, and more refined in the days following each session. For the Vitamin C E Ferulic 16% Serum that delivers the most intensive brightening on freshly peeled skin, a high-strength brightening serum penetrates most effectively on the freshly renewed skin this peel creates weekly.
- Clears Pores While Exfoliating the Surface, Two Depths in One Session: Most exfoliants work only on the skin surface. Salicylic Acid in this peel is oil-soluble, so it travels inside the pore during contact time and dissolves the congestion causing blackheads from the inside while the Glycolic and Gluconolactone work above on the surface. For the Alpha Arbutin 2% Serum that fades post-acne marks in the days after the peel accelerates cell turnover, a post-peel brightening serum fades the dark spots the peel's accelerated cell turnover brings to the surface faster.
- Aloe Vera and Panthenol Calm Skin After the Acids Work: Post-peel skin is more sensitive than usual. Aloe Vera and Panthenol in the formula reduce redness and restore moisture comfort after rinsing so skin does not feel raw or stripped. For the Hyaluronic PGA Serum that is the recommended post-peel morning hydration step the next day, a deep skin hydration serum restores post-peel skin moisture the morning after each weekly peel session.

FAQ
FAQ
Q1. Is this safe for home use?
Safe for experienced acid users who follow the guidelines. Not for beginners, sensitive skin, or skin with active inflammation. Start with 10 minutes once weekly. Never exceed 20 minutes. Always patch test before first full-face use. For the Niacinamide 10% Serum used on the morning after the peel for barrier support, a barrier repair face serum strengthens and calms post-peel skin the morning after each weekly session.
Q2. How often should I use this peel?
Once weekly for most people. Twice weekly is the maximum for experienced users who have confirmed no sensitivity for 4 weeks at once-weekly. Never use on the same day as retinol or other exfoliants. For the PHA Face Toner that provides gentle daily exfoliation between weekly peel sessions, a daily gentle exfoliant maintains daily light exfoliation between peel sessions without disrupting the peel recovery period.
Q3. What if my skin burns during the peel?
Mild tingling in the first few minutes is normal. If it intensifies to burning, rinse immediately with cool water and apply a soothing moisturiser. Burning means the formula is too strong for your current barrier tolerance, reduce contact time to 5 minutes first. For the SA LHA Cleanser used before the peel session on clean skin, a pre-peel BHA cleanser clears surface oil and product residue before this peel is applied so the acids work on clean skin only.
Q4. Can I use this peel on active acne?
Avoid applying directly over inflamed active breakouts. Carefully apply around them. The surrounding acne-prone skin benefits from the pore clearing and sebum control. Once inflammation resolves, the peel can be used more fully across the face. For the SPF 50 sunscreen that is non-negotiable the morning after this peel, a daily broad spectrum SPF is the most critical step the next morning, freshly peeled skin has no UV tolerance and UV will darken acne marks immediately without protection.
Q5. What products should I use on peel night and the morning after?
Peel night: gentle cleanser before, soothing moisturiser after rinsing only. No active serums. Morning after: gentle cleanser, Hyaluronic PGA serum for hydration, light moisturiser, and SPF 50 without exception. For the Maleic Bond Repair Shampoo that also uses an acid-based repair mechanism to restore damaged bonds in hair, a acid repair hair shampoo uses maleic acid to repair hair bonds on the same wash days this peel uses multiple acids to resurface the face.
